I was reading Bruce Swedien's threads about working with Michael on Gearslutz recently.

RIP Michael

and Bruce so sorry you have lost such a great colleague.

Devastating. He was phenomenal

...sad day for the record industry, and perhaps a signpost for the end of an era.

So sad and really hard to believe. I'm playing Billie Jean right now in honour of this incredibly talented man.

MJ

Man, I remember going out and buying parachute pants and learning to moonwalk so I could be like him. So Sad, that he had to go so soon but the music he blessed us with will last a long time!

R.I.P.

MTV should spend a whole day showing nothing but his videos!

RIP, Michael. Not many can groove/perform like he did, and that was apparent from the time he was just a kid performing on the Ed Sullivan show.

Cheers,

So shocking. One of the greatest performers we've ever had. The end of an era.

Am going reserve judgement until further reports come in, hope it's not true, but in the meantime may he rest in peace.

I was listening to the "Bad" album on the way home from work just a little bit ago, right about the time he pronounced dead. It's not uncommon for me to listen to Jackson, but it is pretty crazy. RIP. Think I'll play some of my favorites on vinyl tonight.

MY GF called me balling. I still don't know what to think. Human Nature was always one of my all time favorite songs. I have to perform 'Beat It' tomorrow night at a gig with my band at a regular cover gig. Hopefully we can do something special with it for Mikey. Man, I'm just ranting, I don't really know what to do with my emotions.
