My Post "Sex in the Studio" wiped without a trace

Not bad, almost 1000 views in under two hours. I went for a walk/run and return to a zapped thread. Well, I'm from the land of Free Speech, but no hard feelings the subject of sex in a soundproof room just was too much for people who otherwise endure the word slutz but can't fathom an intimate relationship:

Henry, I thought soundproofing gave me other options besides making loud music.

I've run audio boards in the past, and I'm not sure how far I'd have let it go either. The thread would have been stopped at some point but I'd probably have deleted offending comments and delegated a moderator to watch the thread work its way out.

Yeah. I haven't read the FAQ, maybe ever. But common sense and good taste probably should have sounded a warning signal. Sex in the Studio is just a ******** thread, even if I didn't read it. No offense intended. For what purpose? To say it just sos you can? Sound proofing?? LOL. This is greaslutz related to audio.

It's the state of YOUR mind that makes it "********" or perverse or judged in good or bad taste. I wasn't out to make a prono, I didn't realize how conservative a small minority claim they are while at the same time playing a bullshit game that slutz is somehow a "good taste word". It isn't.

To reiterate:
*Sex is a good word because we owe our existence to it.
*Slutz isn't derived from any wholesome word.

I have absolutely NO problem with sex. You read me wrong. It's not MY buttons I'm talking about. There is a time and a place for such topics, as, to some people, those are sensitive topics. That's what I'm saying. I wasn't offended. But some people may be. I'd like to have sex any where my wife would have it. But it's not a subject I'm going to talk about on a public forum, not because I'm embarrassed, but because other people might be or have issues with it. That's all.

I too believe in freedom of speech and expression. But I also believe in taking responsibility with that freedom. And herein lies a distinction. This is a forum owned by Jules. He dictates our freedom. This is not free expression. It has rules, as distinct from your own personal life. If you chose to obey these rules, fine. If not, that's fine too. Jax, I meant to say I lucked-out saving it so I'd have a chance to see what went wrong and how I could correct it.
