With all due respect, and condolences for your injury, just what the heck does Tupperware have to do with microphones?

I am sorry about your finger. I had a similar injury once. It involved a lasagne. Expensive cables.

I used to work in restaurants. I've had so many cuts and burns it's not even funny. A few highlights are:

-Burn on the back of my wrist where a watch would be, with a fajita skillet (you know, the cast iron deals they bring your fajitas out on that are sizzling and smoking), about 400 degrees. Not my fault, the guy who burnt me felt really bad. Bought me beers after work for about a month.

-Burnt my forearm on the outside of a steam kettle, about 500 degrees.

-Cut 2 fingertips off my left hand once. Cutting potatoes, the knife guy had just brought the newly sharpened knives back, razor sharp. Didn't feel a thing. The flesh grew back in about a month.

-Sliced a bit off the tip of my right thumb on a meat slicer. My fault, I was cleaning it with the blade spinning.

I was a sous chef in former life...I did the same thing to my left thumb with an 8" Wustof chef's knife . Never felt a thing. Gotta curl those fingers under!

Tough break.... I chopped off my fingertip cutting green peppers. Blood sprayed everywhere. Knife went right through the nail.

Right now, my wrist hurts from typing, clicking, and playing guitar.

Doctor said some people's mouse-click fingers get permanently stuck in an arch from too much computer.

The worst restaurant burn is opening a convection oven filled with steam from bread cooking.

You open it, it feels hot but okay, then you stick your face in to see if everything is done and that's when the slow-moving super-heated steam burns your whole face. It's like something out of SAW.

Nothing hurts like a gas rice steamer. Or a hooker wearing cleats. TDIF.
