| I'm very willing to bet that this technology will fuel a new subgenre of remixed music, just the way ableton changed the game. The quirkyness/artifacts created in manipulating complex polyphonic waveforms is quickly going to become a 'sound' for remixers and producers. And much like the advent of other computer technologies these days (*cough* autotune), it will take electronic based genres by storm and then became verrry played out because it will be a sound that's very easy to attain. It will be interesting to see what comes out of it, but regardless of whether it works how it is supposed to, it will be thoroughly exploited in the next big thing for dance music. |

| c'mon guys, although other methods could be used, you have to admit it would be cool to be able to fix that blatant "Gank" in Ritchie Blackmore's solo in the live version of "Smoke On The Water" after all these years... ![]() |
