Don't switch to yellow

DHL
...just when I thought FedUps gave bad service....

here's normally me after dealing with DHL

I am now going to the gym to work off some and regain

...so one week after my broker clears my shipment.....there's a box in Cinncinati and then back to Montreal but the last scan was 24 hours ago and someone will call sometime tomorrow.

I can imagine lining up at the food bank if I gave my customers that kind of service

...so for all the thousands DHL spends on advertising their new trucks....here one really life customer who's not impressed.

Well I DID think we had found the perfect Courier company, but I'm afraid this carry on has left a bad taste in my mouth. To be fair, this is the first time we have had a problem like this with DHL.

Here's were Andy's packages have travelled so far from the DHL tracking page, I wonder if they'll end up back in LA again...

a bud of mine worked for DHL for almost 15 years. when DHL bought Airborne Express they laid off however many thousands of DHL employees and gave the jobs to the much cheaper and less experienced Airborne employees. you get what you pay for i guess...dfegad

I used to do lots of stuff for Atlantic, and at one point they (Time Warner, actually) switched to Airborne Express...we used to call it Airborne Distress...they lost so much stuff that I got three $100 checks one year for lost deliveries of documents, since if you don't declare a value it defaults to $100.

So how did this turn out?

Well the shipment got there in the end - but the invoice for the delivery arrived in our post box days BEFORE the goods were actually with Andy. Before this however, DHL told us they had lost one of the boxes, but would deliver the one they did have. Next thing, 2 boxes were delivered to Andy, all good we thought, then DHL called Andy a couple of days later to say they had found the lost box and it would be deilivered shortly - huh!

Of course the boxes were in pretty bad shape after travelling around the US twice!

To be fair to DHL, shipments we have made into the US have been no problem, good service, seems the Canadian arm of the company needs a bit of a shake up however!

They are giving us a discount on the freight cost too.

Tim.

....and I should point out, Buzz Audio's packaging is second to none..... thank goodness, after all the hard work bringing a great product to life, too many manufacturers skimp on the packaging that assures the customer will realize the full benefit that the product's designer intended.

...and thanks Tim for holding our hand through this ordeal, much appreciated
