Lmao, well that's the first thing I did when I went in there today.

Top peak to bottom trough has gone from 15db to 9db

I also tweaked the sub and the whole response is flatter in general, the same issues are there but less 'jagged'

I think by the time I get the back wall in it will nearly be passable!

Hello mate,

I see your UK based (like myself) I struggle with similar peak/dip problems, don't have a proper mic for measure I will try with Sm 58 ( or maybe it's not good idea at all) I got badly peaks around 123-130 Hz. Tried moving speakers left/right - nothing helped. Friend told me it could be standing wave ( speakers are on stands in middle between ceiling and floor). That's an issue, I rent flat, so I can't actually mount anything on ceiling. However I decided to move corner panels ( after advices from this forum and sos as well) and fit them in corners, plus I was thinking about fitting cardboard in front of panel plus some vinyl at the back. I've seen your posts, did you try vinyl at the back ? How this improved room EQ ? Would you mind to give me link with plastic sheet you fit into your panels ?

thank you fro help

take care
