peluso 22 47 are NOT good

Ok so i bought a Peluso 2247 about a month ago, i was so looking forward to hearing and getting this mic. when i got it and tried it on a few clients i was so disappointed with the sound, i had just wasted my money. my $500 Chinese tube mic sounded better. i didn't know what to do. i tried to sell it but no one would buy it for my asking price. so i rang up the distrob in Australia and he told me some very interesting things about Peluso witch made sens why my mic sounded so bad. anyway his name is Ben Sneesby, he is a life saver and a champ, he riped the guts out of my mic and power supply and put all origanel german parts in and made it sound amazing. beast mic i ever heard. so heres to Ben Sneesby... so watch out for peluso cos there doing the dirty on us

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I've had nothing but the opposite. I got the 2247 LE (German tube) and it's become one of my favorites on vocals and acoustic instruments. Blew me away considering what I paid for it. It's sounds better than my real U47 and is preferred over my U67 as well by everybody who uses it.
