thanks for the communication!
i got my digi003 mod without a problem and on time(in april), but when i opened the box there was no microclock or cable, and no note or email or call or anything to let me know anything about my microclock and cable.
i thought they must have made a mistake and shipped my order without my microclock and cable.
after i called and emailed them, they emailed me about the backorder. but no estimate or anything..

I wonder, Why not an update on the website??

I placed an order for one and got it late the week before but it was DOA. I sent it back to BLA and It got there late last week but Ive not heard anything back yet.

when did you originally order yours?
i ordered mine in april.

I received mine today. I think its working as it should but Im not certain. I can get it my mixer to lock on to it but a couple of other A/D converters Im using dont lock as they should. Im still working the problem and am not convinced the Microclock is to blame in this case.

But in any case.. It did show up and is working.

i had my digi003 modded april 21st. i asked them which would be better sound quality and at their recommendation, i got the external microclock instead of the internal clock mod. i've been waiting since then for them to ship my microclock and cable.

i got an email 9 days ago that said it would ship on friday or next week.. it's next friday and i just got an email that said they shipped out 10 units yesterday and i am now at the top of the list of their 9 "remaining" orders...so mine would ship by the end of next week. they informed me that they are waiting on a shipment of parts.

this indicates to me that noone who ordered a microclock since april 21st has received it yet.
could this be true? has anyone out there ordered a microclock directly from Black Lion Audio since April 21st and received it?

I know that the retail outlets have stock. I emailed them to ask if they had them in stock and they said yes, in fact one of them is having a sale.

If you get a BLA mod, do they still offer a discount on the Microclock like before and you're getting it directly from BLA?

That's a bit disconcerting to hear about such delays.

I plan to modify my 896HD. I see they now only offer the analog mod - no preamps which I thought was a bummer.

No, as far as I know, they don't offer the Microclock direct at all anymore. They told me that I was in fact one of the very last customers to take advantage of that discount.

update: i received my Microclock today. I haven't had a chance to get out to the studio yet. My son was born 5 days ago so i've been just a bit busy since i got home from the road sunday afternoon.
-will report on perceived performance soon.

I talked to them. No discount because they're selling through retailers like Atlas Pro Audio.

i plugged it in and all seems fine. protools reverts to internal clock every time i start it but i just change it back and it seems to recognize it fine. i don't really know how to test it for improvement but it sounds good. i havent had time to do any complete tracks with it yet. just a drum track. sounds good.
