What to do when you have a nasty, possibly evil, boss?

Just openly tell her you think she's disrespectful and if she continues it, you'll file a complaint against her with the owner. If he condones it, get a lawyer and sue.

women are VERY tempermental people. they do not belong in management positions. one day they are fine and the next...well let's just say heavy flow?

i have had three women "bosses". they all try to make up for and then some for a lack of a peni.......respect.


i have one now and she's about to get shitcanned. oh happy days!

You're all pretty much on point, at least the big boss is a good guy, my boss is just...well the way the she is. At least i'm not being targeted, so it could be worse. There's a new guy starting next week, so that will give her something to play with for a bit and give me a bit of space.

Its not getting to me that much, but its good to vent in the zone. Got a few sessions with some great muso's coming up i'm looking forward too, life could be far worse!

philosophically speaking, i use impossible people to strengthen my resolve. i figure, if i can handle an impossible person then i can handle anything. and, in my view, there is nothing harder to do than deal with impossible people in positions of power. but i've had my share to deal with and it has made me a better person because i use the situation to become stronger. i have fibro-myalgia, my brother has parkinson's, my father spent the last seven years of his life with severe dementia, my mother dropped dead at my dinner table on mother's day from a massive stroke (actually died 24 hours later). all of the tough situations i had been through before all this shit happened helped prepare me for handling it. the human spirit can be the single most powerful force there is if you learn how to control your emotions and direct that energy toward being strong.

as for your boss. she must be an idiot to act that way. surely you are smarter than she is. use that to your advantage to ensure that she gets what she rightfully deserves. like raising children, you have to realize that you are smarter than they are and then act accordingly.

I recently just had enough of the boss' BS.I got right down to the point with him,told him exactly what I was thinking ,how I felt.Now he and the owners go out of there way to be extra nice to me.I heard thru the grapevine that if you stand up to him and the owners they just completly cave in.I might hit them fr a raise this week.
