They already tried.

I have stopped buying their cables anyway. There are way better alternatives for cheaper.

I am ashamed that I already have some of their cables.

What will it take for us consumers to send them a message.

I say we launch a nationwide boycott.

Fukk that company 1000 times over. I hope every person and attorney working for Monster cable catches the most scorching case of herpes. I will NEVER purchase a single product from that lame assed excuse for a company.

wow, I feel really dirty for buying their power center now... is the head of the company mentally insane? Or are they related to a law firm who can't find enough ambulances to chase?
These sound pretty paper thin and difficult to prove, I would think they have some lawyer dreaming up ways to make him/herself a lot of money at Monster's expense...

or they're just straight up crazy.

I think it's important to invest your money with companies that are aligned with your personal values. If you value big corporations aggressively attacking small buisnesses and people like Monster or Waves, then spend your money there. Otherwise, find a company that works for you!

We should all contact any shops we know - try and get them to stop stocking....dunno if it'd work...
Monster Cables - latin for "pricks". Balfour Beatty should sue them for using the word "cables".

I'm gonna sue them for using english - I use this language every day and I have prior use, being older than the company.

I can understand this, just yesterday I went into the gas station here and bought a monster energy drink, brought it home and could not figure out how to plug it into my guitar.

It's one thing to sue a mini golf company but I had no idea that they were trying to block the Boston Red Sox from using the Monster Seats and such! I'm a die hard Sox fan.

I think Monster Cable should collectively eat a whole bag of dicks.

To the PR Dept., Monster Cable Products:

I recently read a news article that included your Company therein, and was appalled at the course of action your company has taken against Monster Mini Golf in Rancho Cordova, as well as the woman selling the Monster Mini Golf franchises. I am personally disgusted by Monster Cable's reasoning behind this (the Public may confuse the two completely unrelated companies), and after considering, have decided to boycott all consumer and professional uses of Monster Cables in both my house, my recording studio, and any other uses I may need cables for. I am also informing all of my clients (both recording and consulting) that I recommend another cable to Monster (such as Mogami or Hosa, whom to my knowledge have yet to file legal action against any Mini Golf parks). I will immediately be returning ALL of my Monster Cable Products to my local retailer, whom I shall also mention this news to, as I'm sure they don't want to be sued by any Music Box Products.

I hope that in the future, your news spots in the public are positive to outsiders, not negative and greedy.

I also hope that you realize that your cable is too expensive. No, it's pointlessly expensive.

I emailed that to the company, CC to every email on their website.

I emailed them also, and told them I need about $150 in guitar patch cords and 2 sets of balanced stereo patch cords and wires for my amp and monitors. About $200 just this week alone...

I went ahead and started building my new kit with planet waves..

I have Klotz, Belden, Mogami, Canary, etc in my studio...but I needed a bunch of mic cables, and quickly for an impending session a number of years back.

All Guitar Center had was Monster Cable. Now I'm ashamed of the contents of the bag where I keep them. I'll never quite feel the same plugging one of those plastic molded and overpriced XLR's into my U87 again...

BTW, I once bought one of their power conditioners. It did nothing for my sound. I was using Apogee converters, a Bryston 4BST and KRK/NS10m monitoring etc - all the good stuff plugged into it. Didn't do jack. It failed quite impressively though when I (accidentally) plugged my Miele vacuum cleaner into a power strip connected to it...nice burning plastic sort of aroma...

...took it back to GC and bought some actual gear with the exchange money...some mics I think...
