The Conn company made a model of home electric organs called the Artist. Yup. The Conn Artist.

How about RND's Dynamizer?

When Roger Nichols Digital bought those Inspector and Inspector XL plug-ins, I remember there being a long discussion on the DUC with people coming up with funny names for their "rebranded" reissue... Like Anal-izer...

Benchmark MP-3. It's a nice little mic preamp board, but why associate
something by a quality company like Benchmark with a less than great
lossy audio coding format.

Don't get me wrong... I AM NOT SLAMMING the stuff... but...

Buzz Audio. That strikes me as an unfortunate name.

Double Muff

though most pedals sound like they're called, the womanizer, the big muff, the rat..

The behringer composer was always saddening to me.

didn't M-audio have a line called "Audiophile?" That is unfortunate.

I find that most keyboards that are called "Workstations" are unfortunate.

Crate Palomino (unfortunate because it has Crate in the name but not in the sound)

Distressor.

I have a Urei 562 "feedback suppressor" which is just a parametric EQ...

BlueTube...starved plate is more like it.

Oasys...

Korg Karma always was ironic to me.

Native instruments tries to make puns with it's names:
Absynth...Kontakt...Reaktor...

and to top it all, Digital Performer is known as DP...

Don't google DP if you're offended easily (Donkey Punch is only ONE result that can be found...)

PROtools LE...

M-Audio Axiom is anything BUT an axiom in midi..

I'm out of ideas, I'm sure none were very good.

Electro harmonix catalog reads like the bathroom floor at a wank shop.

Holy Stain, Electric Mistress, Pocket Muff, White Finger, Black Finger, The Wiggler

East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Pro XP. Try dropping that name to someone and see if they're still listening when you're done saying it three minutes later.

Logic. The name simply defys itself. There is nothing Logical about it.

As a side note... I found it unbelievably funny that it was near impossible to get Reason and Logic to work together without consulting 4 different forums.
