new forum: the parking lot

After having relinked to a thread here from some other unimportant thread and having read intensively all 10 pages of it, it having been locked out but god forbid that I would like to restart it, I would like to suggest that these insanities be allowed to exist and be moved to the "parking lot" (Bevvy bs title) (there was mention of the Brown Room too) where all posters have the right to challenge other posters to swearing matches, arm and mud wrestling, Marquis de Roxbury rules, kickboxing or whatever else they fancy. A kind of virtual "fight club" (another title), it could even be brought to the chat level with scheduled appointments that we can all watch and join in on (big for advertising!)
I generally don't go for this sort of thing but I read all 10 pages (I have a broken ankle and find myself in front of the bbs more than I like to, but I don't have a real broadcast or cable or satellite TV).
Grudge matches, amateur challenges, tag team PSW vs. musician collective or who ever they are, they could be staged like a dBate.
If the chat is workink then open another channel and put up announcements like MM vs. curve at 18.00 GMT or slippy slips it to anyone starting at 22:00 GMT.
Already it's pretty entertaining and there's never enough rope to let go in these matters.
There could be a prize given out at the end of the year to those with the most victories in each category etc...
It's a shame to see such valiant efforts go for naught.
