TTH Label Nightmare!

This is a great story about a company who has no idea what customer service is.

In June I ordered some CDs from tthlabel.com. After placing my order I realized I made a mistake, so 10 hours later I sent an email asking to make my changes. I received a response that the order had already been printed and that the changes would be made if I paid extra, which I did. I figured that if they printed in 10 hour than I should be receiving my CD within a week so I emailed them and asked for the status. I was told not to email them to check on an order for at least 2 week. After 2 weeks or so I received my order and all was well.

Later I decided to order again. I went to log into their FTP to check on my art work and music files and found that my login no longer worked. So I posted on their forum for help logging in. I was told by the moderator that my account had been “reset” and that they would check to see that everything was “cleared” from their ftp. I just assumed that this meant that my files had been deleted so I re-registered and uploaded my files again.
I paid the man and waited.

I then received an email asking me why I did not email them with my changes, that they had printed the first upload (the wrong one), and that this was the second time I had screwed up. I pointed out in a courteous but firm manner that the problem lies not with me but with the directions I had received. I then received an email insisting I was wrong about the order and that I had indeed made a mistake. I was getting agitated that I was being chastised and wrote a stronger, but not insulting, email explaining exactly my position. I finally received a nasty reply full of insults and was banned from the company.

I don't think it is the customers place to be belittled by a company for trying to order a product. If there is a misunderstanding it is the company’s responsibility to be understood clearly. I am a reasonable guy, but I will not be blamed by a company who is taking my money over a problem that I have nothing to do with regardless of how small the problem actually is. It is amazing that a company would throw away one customer (maybe more) simply to argue a point that is of no real significance.

My advice is to stay clear of this company as they are not professional and probably won’t be in business long.

When I am chastised by a company of any kind, I get more than agitated - I turn into a raving, angry SOB.

Did you lose any money?

No, I didn't lose money. The guy just has no empathy for his customers and thinks he is doing us a favor. Not very professional.

Every company that pulls crap like that should be publicly outed, like we all do with UPS, FedEx, etc.

Haha

You all are a bunch of ignorent morons that need to smarten the hell up.

None the less Culture of greed don't go trying to slander my name because you couldn't follow instructions, I can 110% prove your post up there is a bunch of bullshit.

You want some cheese with that wine? Do you? You didn't like it because you were unable to read the english language, go back to school and then try again, out of 1017 people you're the only idiot that had to start problems because you couldn't follow instructions.

And the rest of you idiots, you are so quick to talk shit without knowing what the hell you are talking about. What i'm doing is praised by thousands, if I started posting the compliments I've received from artists I'd max your sql space out on your database.

By the way culture, I knew you'd do something like this, go stick your cds into a cd player than can read cd text and tell me what it says?

Who's laughing now?

Wow, what a professional response! It's clear that you're in the right here. I'm sure the original poster is "an idiot" and is full of "bullshit," and needs to "smarten the hell up." Imagine, him trying to give your company (more) money and you working with him on a personal level! It's obvious that you're not just in it for the money, you actually want to provide good service to your customers! I'm gonna order my next 5,000 CDs from your company!

Or the original poster? I mean, can anybody be that dumb?

I checked out the website, and they have a forum on there. The person posting as the TTH admin doesn't sound like the person who posted on this thread, but kinda looks like him. Proper grammar, generally well formulated sentences and thoughts...Still...the use of punctuation and capitalization matches...

And what kind of printing company prints up CDs 10 hours after the order is received? That's some pretty crazy service right there! And then doesn't print up the corrected order for another 2 weeks? Something's not adding up here...

Dysanfel, I noticed they have a public forum on their site...I searched for your name, but nothing came up...Have you tried posting your grievances on their forum? Perhaps that would be a better way of getting some resolution here? Make sure you link the thread here...

The plot thickens?

Wow I can't believe you people

First of all I'm the guy thats the same name on tth label dot com so throw your rocks at me, that's what you people all seem to want to do, and for what? You don't even know me. Who's the guy that posted as tthlabel ? Why did it say for a week that my email address was already being used by someone? I registered today because this has gone too far.

I'll answer you people and then I won't return here. I think that I have not been treated fairly, I haven't even been on here and you all want to take my head off already, what did I do to you?

The person above is strange to me, we had a falling out, he was a return customer. I don't even understand the comment the guy impersonating me made, Culture of Greed ordered those cds blank, which I don't like to do, but did anyways. They were return customers, that was their 2nd order. We had a falling out, I'm not going to slander them, two wrongs don't make a right. There's nothing more to say about that, basically things became abusive towards me with emails, and I have evidence in the form of a log that a malicious code was posted from this persons ip address into one of the modules I have there. At that point in time I'll be honest, I'm not going to lie, I got angry, I banned him and wrote back pretty much saying get lost. I mean wouldn't you be angry if someone posted code like that on here? After that I had to watch the website for hours because someone kept trying to get around the ban and harass me in the forums. I had to keep banning the proxies they used one by one until they finally gave up. They threated to throw my name in the mud, and wow, here it is.

This is the only forum on the internet that I found that has a complaint against me, there's another thread that sprung up elsewhere that has this link referenced and it influenced the guys opinion against me. Why are you people on this website doing this? Do you even know what I'm doing?

I will not advertise what I do here, because I am against spamming forums and advertising kind of would be spam in a way. I will however explain what I do, I run an independent record store that also makes the cd instead of just sells it. I also charge no registration fees and nothing upfront. I put in hours of work for each artist without any sign that it's worth the effort. Some artists don't have a lot of money, that shouldn't keep them from getting their content out there. That's why I'm here, and that's why I don't charge them money upfront. I take out the same rate that cdbaby.com takes out for each cd I make and sell for them through the online store. You won't believe that, I mean, it's all about the money isn't it? That's the impression I get, you people have no faith that there is a company that's actually out there for the better of the industry they serve. You think everyone is out to get you, and you look for one post and believe it.

I also think artists are treated unfairly by duplication companies, companies make them order 100 cds at a time. Not everyone has that kind of money to shell out, so I came up with a no minimum order duplication service where people can order a single cd if they'd like. I can't count the number of times that someone who bought 1 cd off of me came back and bought hundreds.

My next mission since I've accomplished what I wanted to in the music store and duplication fields is to build a huge internet radio station. I want to put these 1200 artists I have registered on my website on the radio and get them heard. I want to make a radio station that people prefer to listen to, and I want to find listeners that support the artists who perform on it.

I'll let my people speak for me, for the purpose of you people believing me I might send a message to a few artists to tell them to post on here and tell you people their honest opinion about my company. But for now

Hello,
Thank you very much for the Killer CD you made and sent me in the Mail !!! Great Job !!! You Guy's Rule !!!

Johnny Lifeson....
I actually sent this guy a cd for free in the mail with no strings attached. I just felt like doing that.

OH yes. You are just the best and thanks for the info about the DJ you sent in a email. I did contact him and he will play my songs. I sent in for my cd to be in your store. Thanks again and if I can help out in anyway just let me know.

Fogdan
This is a recent customer who just ordered cds, he actually wants to spread the word about me any way that he can. Why would he do that if anything in that above post is true?

wow, thank you for your kind words ! Les poetes was my project. I wrote the music and was the guitar player/arranger . Death In Dresden is my newer band , I sing and play guitar in that one . you should put death in dresden in the goth or alternative catagory to get more hits on the page.
thanks again for all your hard work ! this is an awsome thing you have created !!

I actually listen to the music sometime even when I'm just duplicating it. I interact with my customers to the best of my ability. Why would they say "is this an awesome thing you have created" if anything above was true?

Now if you people don't mind, I'm going to try to have some of these people that made these comments come on to testify for me. I feel that you people have falsely accused my company and slandered it for absolutely no reason at all. What did I do to you people? Why are there people on here saying to go post things on my website? Please do not come to my website and start trouble, I don't have the time for it. I'm up at 1:40am in the morning right now rushing someones 100 cd order because they need it by the weekend and I have to make sure it gets there. I'm also not charging them anything extra, wow go find a company that'll do that for you....I break my back to help artists, it's absolutely terrifying to see some slanderous post like this trying to attack me. You're not just attacking me, you're attacking over a thousand independent artists that call my website their home....

I'm not sure what this website is for, gearslutz.com doesn't really tell me what this is a community of but if you are artists, despite the fact that you seem to hate me for some unknown reason, I still wish you the best of luck in your careers, music is a very important part of everyones life that doesn't get enough credit way too often....Best of wishes!

'Allo. One of the artist's on the TTH label. Heard about this bs, had to drop by. The service he's providing is very professional, and very top knotch. I've been working in the music industry for roughly 6 years, and I've yet to find a service that tops his. I've never had a problem with an order (Ordered twice, two sets of 10-packs) nor have I had a conflict with him or the way he runs his business. Everything on the site is extremely clear cut, he makes sure to leave the directions without any room for misinterpretation.

I'm gunna stop here before I get onto a rant.

greetings everyone.

now........when i first saw the tth label, i didnt know what to expect. a lot of places talk a lot of crap but rarely deliver.

TTH is awesome! They do deliver. And the products speak for themselves.

I had my first cd replicated through a professional company, and was fairly pleased with the results. They were Mountain Fever Studio's. Mountain fever let the ink bleed out about 60% through replication. So in the end I got a lot of faded, half color cd's. I was very dissapointed. Plus it was printed on regular ol' walmart style paper.

So when I went to TTH, i replicated the same cd, because in my opinion it didnt matter. It couldnt be any worse than the previous people.
But then when I got my cd from TTH...I was blown away.
High detail photo print, glossy and the disc itself looked like i had bought it out of a real music store.

Now I'm serious, THE QUALITY IS AMAZING!!!!!!
Any underground artist would be a fool to trust anyone else with cd replication!

Anyway, I decided then and there to do ALL MY BUSINESS with TTH.
Loyal customer.

Have since released another cd......and yes, TTH is doing the replication.
the process is easy, simple. Follow the on screen directions and...voila! You have a awesome looking high quality product!!

and......

I am currently in the studio again.
and when it's finished.........
can you guess who is going to do my replication??????????

TTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to add to what other TTH customers have said, it really is a great company and is run very professionally. My band has been getting our CD's done by TTH since April and the service just keeps getting better and better. It is obvious the first guy was an imposter so dont listen to him as the real TTH admin is a great guy and easy to work with.

TTH Label is nobody to EVER do business with.

These people are angry hot-headed maniacs.

If they screw up in ANY WAY, or if you have ANY COMPLAINT whatesoever with their product they immediately become STARK RAVING MAD about it, and fly off the handle at you.

This moron yelled at me today about my 2nd order from them becuase THEY PROMISED to include a barcode on an order, but forgot.

I merely told them, "looks good, but you forgot the barcode" and they went psycho on me.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE LUNATICS.

e I remember this old thread. THe two TTH posters are so obviously the same person because they say the same things, albeit a little more graciously as the 2nd poster.

Well, I'm just me. Nobody else. After my experience with these hot heads, I did a search for "TTH" and found this thread, so I decided to throw in my 2 cents. Take it for what it's worth. TTH actually did a fine job except for their customer service. All I did was inform them that they forgot to include the barcode on my CD, as promised, and they went postal on me.
