I usually check out forums when I've got downtime between projects and for the most part you can harvest some decent info and even make a few contributions. Have you ever noticed that sometimes you check out some recent postings and you realize you've entered on "one of those days"? How can I put this? Well let's just say that the intellectual weather is barely above low pressure if you know what I mean. Today is one of those days for me. All I hear in my head when I read alot of posts today is Carlos Mencia shouting "Do-Di-DO!!" Guess I'll just log off and polish the chrome on my drum kit and hang around with something a little brighter for the rest of the afternoon............peace?

Carlos Mencia is a joke-stealing, fake Mexican hack. The fact that he has his own show, and it's been on for more than one season makes my brain boil to the brink of explosion.

Regarding the actual issue, yes, sometimes forums get ridiculous for a little bit. But how many threads about which 2 channel converter is better can there possibly be before people start freaking out and insulting each other?

I agree about the freak outs and insults, but I'm just talking about general stupdity that sometimes hits like a tsunami somedays. As per Mencia, I also heard some smack about him lifting alot of ideas from other comedians. Too bad if it's true, cause the material is funny, atleast to me, and whoever is the rightful owner of these skits and ideas should get the credit and the money...........music and entertainment are cruel businesses.....but we love it right? Anyways, off to do a rare live gig...........later..

Note: I'm still bitter that good shows on Comedy Central (Tough Crowd, Shorties Watching Shorties, That's My Bush, etc etc) get booted and this jackass gets renewed every year churning out the lamest, mind numbing comedy ever witnessed. There's a reason you don't see guest comedians coming on his show.

Not wanting this to become a Mencia flame fest, but I just spent a bit of time checking out the allegations about his joke stealing on YouTube. Hope it's not true, but it does seem that he definitely "adapted" those Cosby and Kinison skits. Don't know how far he's gone with all his other skits. As per the poster who accused me of having issues because Mencia's stuff is stupid, well, it seems that poster must be pissed about the allegation that Mencia steals. If that's true, he's atleast stealing from some great artists and if you're gonna "borrow" from another artist, you should be smart enough to atleast use good or great material and even smarter not to get caught!! Anyways my .02 cents.......
