Thumbs down Just say no!!!!

I think it is all of these new higher power drugs that a lot of them are on......lol. No, but for real, who wants to hear crappy versions of old tunes??? We really need some great new supergroups to come along soon. Most of the new music today really sucks......peace.

Hmm interesting that, what about unsigned acts?

There are huge amounts of very good good bands around. Just unfortunate that many are not signed and therefore "mainsteamed", no?

But if you look you can find..

I got over the "music is not the same, all new music sucks" thing quite a while ago now.
There is great new music if you look for it.

As far as the reworking of old classics- well, rock music is derivative on some level.
Reworking can be done well or it can be done badly.
For me, 'pop music' & top 40 has often been rubbish regardless of the decade it was written in.

Supergroups are almost entirely disappointing (Audioslave).

Check out Fall of Troy, Clutch and Cave In if you want some new (or newish) music that doesn't suck.

Either get over it or embrace your curmudgeonliness, sit on your porch in your underwear and tell the kids to get off your lawn.

If I didn't have an idea of my own left in me.. it would be time to pass on.

Y'all would have had to been there.
