Hey guys,

Ive never had a problem with the presonus firepod.. its been a great interface but just yesterday when trying to record some guitar directly into Logic, ive been hearing some fairly loud crackling noises when strumming the guitar. Im not sure what the problem is.
When i do a clean monitor off the Firepod, its fine.. but as soon as i hit the Red Record button, its there. Is there a problem with my power source?


Anyone had a similar problem?

My set up consists of a G4 powerbook, External monitor, Presonus firepod, krk Rp 5s , Krk RP10 Sub
