Look at PMP as a PR...a lot of people obviously looking, seeing, hearing about people who otherwise would be somewhat obscure without marketing department to stand behind them.
There a price to do business

is it worth it?

there's a lot of big names endorsing it on youtube. Do they get a % of PMP profit as seems too good to be true that Riggs Morales is going to log on every day, and probably is! Sorry for being cynical, I would like to hear any real success stories/major placements

Some of u may not like these artists but if u serious about selling beats then thats not an issue. Plus go and listen to beats from other producers and see what it is. U can do that for free. See where u stack up against the real- a fact many r not ready to deal with.
Yeah that`s maybe cool...BUT. When I asked them why they`re not putting up the success quotes or success stories on the site, so everybody can see what`s the real deal with placing music with PMP, they just didn`t answer me the question. Wouldn`t you like to know who and how many already placed music through PMP? And if they are that great...why they got anything to hide?

First, they just took some dollars like 200$ a year, after a lot of folks signed they just started to rip of the people, like $450.00 a year.

And with that money they paid the A&Rs to drop in their words for PMP
like Riggs Morales etc. Even if they log in there sometimes...why don`t they show successful placements as this would be the biggest ad for them.

Man, I must've missed this thread... Anyway, Conrads a great guy, I'm sure Ken can vouch for that (with all the BB Stuff)... That being said... I just checked out Ken's work, you'll be hearing from me shortly ... BTW, if there are any others that are members please feel free to PM me with your name on the site (as I am the Point of Contact and A&R Coordinator/Product Manager)... and I will check out your music... in return, I'll give you the name of the artist I'm taking submissions for and it'll give you the description of what I am looking for (if you aren't a member I will forward you my email with a Subject line code)... I am only taking 2 submission per producer unless I request more... Finally, NO DIRTY SOUTH type beats...

Any Engineers (Nuendo based) in the DC Metro Area drop me a line...

b4 I joined PMP, I thought it was a scam cuz of all the kats blasting it but after being on there for a 2 months, all honesty the site kicks ass!!!!!

the majors take you more seriously when you got that stamp and credibility.... one thing alot of cats forget is that you still have to bust your tail and get out of your basement & grind!!!! too many people want an easy road w/o putting up a fight when the music industry is all about fighting for your position... its 90% and 10% talent

dont look at PMP as the answer for your placements... look at it as a huge marketing tool to open the flood gates.....
