Smile What's the standard level in digital recarding??

would some body tell me what's the standard level in digital recording??

i have a problem in the volume of my song.

The volume of my songs are smaller than the songs in cds,

But the level is nearly about 0db, the volume is still small.

what's the problem??

Is it the level problem when recording??

I' m new in recording and try to record some good demos of my band.

would some body help me? thanks!!
