Myspace, a good place to promote music?

Myspace, a good place to promote music? or is it a load of kids socializing and being "hip" not adding bands or having songs on their page?

Yes, it can be a good place. It's a hell of a lot better than handing out millions of cd's right. Just make sure you've protected your tunes. If you have good music, you'll have loyal fans no matter how you try to gain exposure or market your music

i prefer purevolume.com, myspace is a great tool but is somewhat abused with bandss spamming bands and peoples pages like crazy. check out purevolume.com for your music.
