A LOT OF MISSING POSTS

Moderators - you may already be aware of this, but in the past few hours something has caused a lot of posts to disappear. For example, here in the Moan Zone the thread titled "Just heard my CD on the radio" indicates that there are six posts in the thread, but when you open the thread there are none visible. I noticed that other threads indicate new posts, but when you open them none of the newer posts are visible, just stuff from a couple of days ago.

Forum down time & some lost posts

Yes there has been some forum issues that have resulted in lost posts that were made during a few time windows over the last day or so. (one was a 5 hour period)

Obviously we are working to resolve these issues but cant give a timetable as to when they will be resolved.

We wont be retrieving lost posts, (the forum is like a heavy train, we have to keep rolling, its hard to stop or go roll backwards)

Apologies,

Please bear with us..

Feel free to make comments here but we hope you can understand that we don't have time to answer individual emails and PM's on this subject right now..

Thanks in advance..

Last post button does not seem to work. Do you know why?

It takes you to a window that says the following...

No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator.

Sorry about that.

My posts for Sunday February 18th were lost. I noticed it the next morning an emailed Jules. He was on it in a nanosecond.....Go Jules baby

I have tried to repost the answers although I am sure that the second answers were somewhat different. So if anybody does not see their question, fire it back up and I will do my best to answer asap. Things will get a little hectic for me from the 25th but I will try to answer before the end of the forum.

I've been getting sent to this funky page lately when using my Gearslutz link, doesn't look like it's quoted below, but this is the content:

You are seeing this page because the current domain is not configured in the current set of name servers or your domain is being parked.
This is usually just a temporary error while the domain is being added. Once the domain is configured this page will expire and your correct site will be shown.

If your system administrator is having you use the wrong resolving name servers you will want to notify them of this mistake right away.
If you are looking for free resolving name servers (for desktop and personal computers) we suggest you use the free service at Resolving Name Server.

It takes 3/4 minutes to build every page I vist on GS! It loads the blue page and the big flash add at the top and just stops. When it finally loads the text it says "done with errors on page"

I even did a system restore to an earlier date to make sure its not my cpu.

Im on RoadRunner NEO. GS is my favorite site and Its killing me to wait on every page to come up!

Help! Am I the only one with this problem???????? Help!

Time to upgrade the server - that ZX81 really has to go! There are more modern solutions nowadays.
