Thread Starter | Billy Joel--was that real time pitch correction?
I thought Billy Joel's voice sounded so odd when he did the national anthem at the Superbowl. A number of times it sounded almost like the "Cher" effect you get from a struggling pitch correction device. I'm just wondering, he sang it slow and straight--did he think he could lay real-time pitch correction on top and get away with it? What do you guys hear? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98HKmPFqFYw |

Oops. Should have searched first. I see now that there are several posts already on this and everyone did hear what I hear. I'll bet he feels like a tool. |
