Celine does "You Shook Me" - jaw-droppingly wrong

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FONt47Z0KZg&eurl=

Celine Dion, Anastacia, and "You Shook Me All Night Long" in Las Vegas. Brings new meaning to the "flag as inappropriate" option on YouTube.

Wow, watching her play air guitar like a chauncey-ass was almost worth watching the first 30 seconds of that.

"Flag as inappropriate" indeed.

OMG...WTF?? She should be sentenced to a miserable Spinal Tap demise ... like choking on someone else's vomit.

That's her show at Caesar's, right? It's amazing how much it has changed. It used to be a kind of Cirque de Soliel rip-off, and now it looks like a lot more of a concert type thing. The band used to be hidden in and under the stage, you never saw them. Now they are right out there.

Whatever you think of her air-guitar routine, this version of her show seems a lot more appropriate for her than the crazy fx-laden show they used to have. In any case, I'm sure she's just doing the moves that she was given by the director and choreographer.

It's like watching Christians do a porno. The music is right, but the acting, the moves, it's all wrong. And how can Anastacia sound like she is being autotuned, just when she sings? Does that count as talent?

I think that needs a "flag as depressing" button...

heath.

I was embarrassed to watch it. I hate that.

Just more proof that even established artists have to suck to get noticed nowadays.

Forgive me for bumping this....and for all the self-mutilation that's been going on....but I just watched it again and now have a new Favorite Moment that I missed earlier: in the first chorus, when Anastacia says to Celine, "C'mon, shook me, girlfren'."

For the record, it's the first of four times that Anastacia uses the word "girlfren'."

Happy new year, y'all - and thanks for all the laughs on this thread!

The guitar solo has all kinds of suck that would make Hoover envious. It could suck golf balls through a straw. Isn't there a law that says you have to use a Gibson when playing an AC/DC cover?

There should be a law against female vocalists playing air GTR and doing duckwalks.
And I must admit I respect Celine D. as a ballad singer(dont hit me)........but this was really awful....and so was Anastacia......tasteless shitdfegad

And the GTR player would have been fired if she would have been a guy...lousy
