Hey Markus,
Lots of information can be had at factor.ca. The main thing about applying to factor is to show them that your goals and expectations are realistic for the amount of money that you asking for. They want to see that you are going to use the money for a viable product that will have a good chance to success and profitability. You have to approach as if you were just asking a regular person for money... i.e. why should they give YOU their own hard-earned cash instead of the next guy?

Bravo Hi from Kitchener! I saw your post about using FACTOR and was wondering if you could give me some tips with applying for the demo grant. Most of the money would go to the recording studio which is my own $10/hr studio(on commercial space) and press kits. How do I set it up so that I can use my own recording studio and still get the grant? Also any other pointers would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Markus
