    hello,
i'm from france, and i've just bought a modified alesis x2.
first, i want to thank you for posting so interesting informations :)
i have one working psu and one blown
the pres have been fixed with diodes to prevent them from blowing, and all the channels have several resistors added in the circuit, all work find exept one channel has a permanent buzz when i load it with a mic, dead condensers (the two blue ones on the top) or bad soldering?
all insert jack connectors have been manually replaced and faders changed with new alps.
i think it's a good start, and i'm very interested in your jfet replacement master board for the master input stage, if you can make it for me and give me instruction on how to install it , your price would be mine, and i could send you a couple of excellent french wine :))
    best regards from france
