I was just joking about the template! I had a engineering teacher that always complained that cla's mixes all sound the same ( I'm not a huge fan of cla). So any help with my drum mixes?

Hey David, Any good tips with overall drum mixes. I always seem to have a problem with them sitting in the mix being to cramped. any tip with cymbals or rooms? My band is a more indie/scremo/rock (underoathish).
p.s. have they come out with a cla template? Where I can cram all my tracks in and they will sound like all his other mixes?
