Your two best options, I think, are Tree Falls (323/851-0299, ask for Mike, or mike@tfsound.com) or McCoy (818/985-2303, ask for Ron, or mccoysound@sbcglobal.net). Both are relatively inexpensive, centrally located (not at the beach, which makes for higher cost and less convenience for your talent), very nice people, and have great gear. Tree Falls also has Source Connect. Good luck...
