Soon I am going to get my hands on a new Avalon 737 to track my synths with. Dont forget about picking up some stuff like eq's and compressors for tracking too. Then to finish it off, an apogee rosetta is always nice to track through, it has "that" color to it that people have ingraved in their minds.
hey petty what would u reccomend for tracking mpc and keyboards. i see threads about it all the time its either di or add a preamp or something im thinking of getting a lunchbox man but then again im gonna buy the waves api plugins so would it still be neccesary another thing im gonna get for my mic pre is the avedis ma5 tony reccomended it to me for recording but he said i can use it for keyboards also. so im not sure if ill need to add stuff since im gnna be getting these things man what u think. heres the setup im gonna have mpc 4000 motif and fantom rack and some synth dont know yet.
