yo....ive seen you on a few boards... figured you would have a few answers to the questions that have been plauging me....with h8000fw runing 8ch of firewire i/o of a mackbook pro using logic
will i be able to use a firewire audio interface at the same time for phones or l/r
or should i use a usb interface? i just got the apogee ensemble in and it seems like a toy.... so i wouldnt hesetate to exchange it....im not doing anything bigtime...but do apretiate quality... basicaly im looking for the most flexible signal path with the macbook the eventide avalon 737 and some kind of interface with the ability to rout to and from anything without unpluging and re configuring cables whenever i want to make a different sound...also ive been runing windows as of 4 days ago and realize how boring mac os is... what are your opinions on that?
perhaps i should use a different recording software and ditch the mac os all together?
