PS Did you end up getting AK47 and MA5? I just nabbed a great river and it has changed the way I feel about the ak47 vocally. The sound was much larger and smoother. Perfect amount of color. I was using an API and it was just to harsch and over sibilant. Overcolored. I am dying to try an MA5 as it follows the "neve" way which is my favorite way!!

Just looked at my profile and saw your message. I picked up a purple action and am about to sell it. I need way more detail as on all controls. Most of the time I can't achieve the sound I want because of the damn knobs and their lack of sensitivity. This is the maybe the 2nd or 3rd compressor i just could not get the hang of. It doesn't respond like anything i know. Today was actually the last straw. I pulled it from the chain for the last time. It also distorts to easily. Gonna try a komit or buzz essence (the opto one)
