E Series dynamics use a different VCA chip, does not have the "hold" on the gates, and sounds different - a bit more "bitey"

Thank you Jim, I guess I need both...ha, seriously...

    Last Question, I promise:
Is there any thought of making the E dynamics available in the total recall x rack? You all are doing a great job at providing an entry path way to SSL with the Mynx.

If you ever need any help in Southern California with a client or an event feel free to ask. I'm always excited to help out good people and everyone I've ever met at SSL has been awesome.

    Best Regards, Chris

    HI Chris

The X-Rack dynamics is from the 9000 consoles, whereas the E Channel one is from a 4000E. To me, the 9000 is cleaner, smoother, and faster (stupidly good IMHO) whereas the 4000 dynamics is more aggressive, "bitier", and "pumpier"

    Hope this helps
