C/G They were a good utility mic. There are the exact same as a Gefell MV691 but had a built in pop filter housing. I'd figure they would be great for anything with a bit of air movement like horns or guitar cabinets/amps. If youw ant general purpose, look for a pair of Gefell MV692 (pad, roll off) ar MV691 (no pad or roll off). Those mics can tackle anything, especially if you buy some large diaphragm capsules for them like a UM70. I used my Gefell MV692 pair with the UM70 all the time. Best all around mic ever or one of them anyway. They sound like a meaty U87 with that UM70 capsule on them.
I regreted selling them because I bought them for next to nothing but I found I used my regular pair of MV692 more. Hope this helps.

Hey man, my name is James. I just read a post where you said you regretted selling a pair of Gefell PM750 mics. What was it that you miss about them? What did you find them useful for? The studio I intern for is think about picking up a pair and has tasked me with finding out what they work best on. So before I go micing up everything thats in the studio I thought I'd try to find out where to start.
