I just noticed you on GS and I've wanted to ask you this for a long time: how have your goals changed in tracking drums over the years? Translating The Name was so sharp and in your face, the Warped EP was really punchy and the hat sizzled so awesomely, but the Grey really conformed to more of a standard drum mix. Have you been influenced more and more by the Benson and Walker since 2004? Did you guys track all of TTN with Pat yourselves? Ive been curious about those sessions for a while and Im sure you get asked a lot. There used to be some info on the Saosin site, but not a real gearslutz kind of thread.
