You know I can't find the paper I had it written on, but Tim at VK knows which one's they were. They were "stuffed" incorrectly. I'm pretty sure it was also posted on the "Helios Thread" at pro sound web as well.
I have the helios module and always thought it a bit low on headroom...clipping too soon and a bit thin sounding..so I took it back to vintage king.,..which is about 30 minutes from where I live, here in Michigan..and Tim and I opened it up. He found the voltage to be the correct value of 32 volts, and the 10k pot was already installed. I just have 1`single channel in the vintage king rack. The r51 was still connected and we didnt lift it that day. At home I lifted r51 myself and I seem to notice a very small increase in the thickness of the tone. You mentioned earlier that roundbadge had an additional 3 resistors that were of wrong value. r49,50,and I think you said 52?....could you tell me what the correct values should be for the 3 you mentioned> and was it a mistake in manufacturing? or a change needed to facilitate the insert of the trim pot upon racking......thanks for your help
