I have had lots of Ricks over the decades, starting with the one in my avatar that I bought in 1973. At the moment I am down to two of them, my March '73 4001 in Mapleglo and a Dec '11 4004 Laredo in Ruby that was a 2012 NAMM Show display model!
I have TI Jazz Rounds ons the 4001 and TI Jazz Flats on the Laredo for different tones.
If you give me a real e-mail address I can send you a short demo recording using the 4001; I was testing out a Cave Passive Pedals B-Drive overdrive pedal, made in Australia, showing the effect of various settings on it.
