Hi Reptil....here is gabberome75...from Italy.....I need your help....some days ago I bought a pair of NTP 179-400...searching with google I read about that you have some technical info and how is wired this limiter...I need your help....thanks in advance...

The BFE is on the same quality level. Again, minor differences. The BFE MV1 to my ears sounds even a bit more clean than the Neumann. The pair of V476b I compared it with was pretty old (one of the first series) so the MV1 is 20 years younger.
I'm going to recap both, and let you know.

Hi, yes, definatively V672 ballpark. Clear highs strong lows, it's detailed but has a little bit of a vibe going on. I just sold three, of nine to pay for the rent this month, packing them right now with tears in my eyes.
Racking them is really easy too. Connecting 48V Phantom a breeze.
The BFE equalisers and summing amps are equally neglected little gems.
These guys knew what they were doing. They had stiff competition, and this is sort of the apex of that technology. (no holds barred, no budgets to think of LOL)
Try them, if you don't like them, sell them to me early march. (depending on the price of course) Regards, R.

Hey Reptil, i notice you have an mv1 as your avatar. i had come across a pair and was wondering if i should grab em. A friend will lend them for a while provided i rack them up. I was told to think of them to sound a lil like a 672 and friendly to a electric gtr...is that in the ballpark? Thanks for any help

hey man, I thought you might be the right person to ask: do you know a good vinyl mastering studio and maybe a good vinyl pressing factory? I need two of my tracks on vinyl, as they really need it, I would make around 500-1000 copies, and sell them and get rich !! hahaha
