I do not use the SMPTE lock, never worked reliablby for me. I use MIDI time code (MTC) out to the DMX and it works beautifully. You set up a DMX time code instrument in core MIDI, hook it up to one of your MIDI outs on the AV, then in DP you go to setup> Transmit sync, and set the MTC output there from the flip-down box.

Saw your Posts regarding DMX-R100 and DP.
I am in the same boat. Its just a NO GO.
Wondering if you ever found a way to get a smpte lock so that I can at least use the automation on the desk?
I'm running a MTP AV, and as of yet had NO luck in getting a smpte lock in either direction. I was wondering if this was due to the MTC/MMC Issues you mentioned?
