Oh and as far as Al's FX go on his vocals, I used pretty much all delays from the soundtoys plugins. Those delays are AWESOME!

Yo! The Al stuff was all recorded live with the band, so I used an sm7b through a SCA n72 pre thorough a distressor. During mix I think I used the CLA 76 comp on most of his vocals and I want to say. EQ wise I think I used a combination Toft EQ and also some plug in eq's. I think I used some pultec eq plugins. I used some different ones on different songs though. On "Too much of a Good thing" I used a Focusrite Red eq plugin to cut lows and hi's to match a 40's type radio sound. That record was a blast to mix!!

Haha nice mixes. I'm hoping to pick one up in a week!! Hey on your Al Holbrooc mixes what were on those vocals they sound really cool. Was that just heavy compression and a little band pass?
