After waiting my whole adult life, 17 years sick with lyme disease, I finally am getting a chance to record an album with my rock band,l Pseudoscience. We are going to do a full 20 songs and right up to 80 minutes for my attempt at a classic rock album. Think Beatles Floyd Pumpkins Who.
My producer is awesome and can mix and master. He has an Eventide Orville in the studio but not an analog Quantec QRS that you said on gearslutz has clearly better verbs. I am wondering…. when the album is finished and ready to be mixed in a month or so, could we/ would you willing to start out using your Quantec on all 20 tracks where you thought it was needed? Then we just finish mixing here in KC at his studio with the Orville and whatnot.
Would you be willing to do something like this? Is is worth the effort to get a better sound with your Quantec? The words are very important to me. How much would something like this costs?
