the M-box mini 2 (pro-tools) is already an interface... it will not only let you use Pro Tools (which you will have to buy separately if my memory serves me correctly) but you will also be able to plug your mic into it... In turn you connect the M-box mini to your computer

That already looks much more appropriate.

Maybe you could find a better mic for that price. Have a look at the "low end" section of this forum and search for mics around 200$.

Keep the rest of the money for harder times (college, etc.). Good luck.
