Hi, on those recordings you've heard (i dont actually know which songs you have been listening too) I believe it was Akg c414 B XL-II as vocal mic through A-designs P1 and then in to Api 525. Sound back then was Digi 003 but with a Lynx aurora 8 converter with adat-card installed. Favourite vocal compressor is Api 525 followed by Purple MC77. Reverb Softube TSAR.

can i now what is your mic and card sound and preamp and what is your favourite compressor for vocal.. and your reverb?
