Hey Beyersound...read your posts about the Mr and decided to give it a go. If you had a quick sec could you check out my thread in low end theory or give a suggestion?

I am trying to use the Mr816 as standalone converter into the mbox 2..yet I can't get the D/A to work correctly. I keep getting a loud metallic distortion when routing mbox2 via spdif into the mr816. Seeking assistance if you could share a lil insight.

I haven't yet, I have the Radikal SAC 2.2 controller which is really nice. I am wondering how much longer that Steinberg is going to support it. I have a good friend the uses C4, and the MR816CSX that is going to get one soon. I don't know what your timeframe is, but I can tell you what he finds out. Cheers, Michael
