Contact Vince at Audioproz in Watertown MA, or possibly Jim Williams on this forum can do that. Mine has a better op amp installed, new caps, and new filter caps on the power supply. Makes it a much more usable comp. There's also a guy from Idaho that sells modded 119s on eBay for the same price or not much more than unmodded ones go for. It might be cheaper to just wait till he lists another modded 119 and buy that.
P.S. The guy from Idaho's eBay name is Revivemusic. I see he has a modded 118 on there now for $180, which is a great price for one of these. You could contact him as well and ask if he would mod the one you already have. I got the one I'm using now from him and it's the best one of the bunch I've ever used , and I've had and used the 119, 118, and 128, modded and unmodded. In case I didn't spell his name right, just search for DBX 118 and it will come up in the listings.
I'm a proud owner of a DBX 119. I was wondering who the 'audio guru' was that you spoke to about these units. I would like to get mine updated a bit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Drew
