    Hi James,
After reading your review of the Rode NT1-A I decided to adjust the score I gave (in my review) as I was wrong and it took your words to make me realise that. Thanks.

    Best, Arthur : )

Hi James. I have great admiration for your work. My name is Ronan Morgan, I am a 28 year old student from Ireland. I am currently finishing a degree in music Technology. My dissertation 'The Importance of drum sound in song' discusses different approaches engineers use to achieve the sought after sound for the song . I would like my last chapter to have engineers opinions on how they approach drums. I hope you wont mind taking my interview. I am deeply grateful for your words that will go towards the making my dissertation. Thank you, Ronan.
      1. What is your opinion on the Importance of drum sound in song?
      2. Have you an approach to recording drums ?
      3. Do you have a certain approach towards drums when mixing ?
      4. Do you use different reverbs/ delays on drums ?

So you really want to know the band? Im not trying to bash them, but when I saw them in town it wasnt impressive, who knows how they are now but they were called Psycadellic Horseshit. Another band from town, that my "lo-fi" buddies like is times new viking, very catchy "lo-fi"

    cheers

    James,

My name is Matt Kruger. I'm a 21 year old engineer from Cleveland. My studio Myspace is www.myspace.com/thebarnrecording

Anyway, so I'm a college student at Kent State right now. I ultimately would like to become a full time engineer. I have a studio setup right now in my grandparents barn. I think i've got some good modern mixes so far. I'd really like to see what I could do with an SSL, as i'm mixing on a mackie 8-bus right now. Is there anyway I could get an internship at Lavaroom? Thanks for your time!
