Hi reading this post with interest. You actually think that Cubase sounds the best of the bunch! I've been working with Cubase SX3 for some years and have been under so much temptation to give-up on it. Nobody seems to rate it, especially as far as audio is concerned, nobody considers it a "pro" DAW. I have been impressed with samplitude in terms of sound quality, but it may just be that the familiar (Cubase) has become too familiar. What is your outlook, and why do you rate it over the sacred pro-tools (which seems to have gained the unquestionable vatican-approved king-like status)? I'm all ears to hear your viewpoint which may save me from flushing my German-designed DAW down the toilet. Tom
