    Hi MrTechno,

I read your comment re: recording drum tracks and was wondering if you could clarify something for me...I'm new with machinedrum and want to record through an analogue mixer as you described. Once you have say 8 tracks from MD to your first 8 channels in your mixer, how would I eq and compress these channels through for eg a ua-1176 outboard compressor and eq if it only has 2 channels? my understanding to get The desired drum sounds into my DAW treated and into different folders and then consolidate those folders to one perfect sounding drum track...same process for synths etc, then I may only end up with 6 or 8 tracks to control in the final mix.

    Thanks for your help
    Iain
