Josh, hey hows it going?
You pointed into an Aurora16&AES16e a year ago and it is awesome!
I made the jump to ProTools 9 native, not HD, when I found out that I could use third party hardware. Now with this whole 10 thing and upcoming 11, what are your thoughts on going forward with an upgrade to 10, and eventually 11 (native not HD)? You seem to be the only voice of reason on this topic.

If it is working for you, maybe you can help me. I have tried with both one and two interfaces. I have a Macbook Pro i7 17" with eSATA external drives ( thru express card) and can't get one track to stay in record even with one interface at 24/48k without getting -6101 errors. Avid and Lynx have been unable to help me, yet it works great with Logic using both interfaces with 32 tracks in record for as long as I need it. (usuallly up to 2 hours). Anything you can say to help would be greatly appreciated as I don't like Logic and I love Pro Tools. This has been very frustrating for me.
FW with PT9 and the Lynx Aurora is working just fine, however any FW connection depends on the FW chip you have in your computer and how it handles the FW connection.

Thanks so much for the info. I plan on getting a rack full of the 4k EQ's next year. I only wish SSL made a rack that didn't have the total recall. I'd much rather have the extra 4 spaces and, a separate power supply. -k.
