Hey There, Sorry I never check gearsluts on my computer these days and so never did get this message until now...

I feel like I am either somehow misunderstanding your problem or that your console behaves the opposite way as mine. When I ride the fader up, the direct out goes up too. Mind you, I am not monitoring through the board. Just using the pres and eqs into a DAW. Do you have a copy of the manual? I can send a PDF.

You might try fooling with the solo button. It can run pre or post fader and that might (?) change the direct signal?

Hi, I just bought a Ramsa WR8616. Anyway, i'm wondering, I'm trying to track through the direct outs of the console. And my problem is as soon as i turn up the fader to hear what i'm tracking the direct signal goes away! It's fine if i return through another channel, but i'm tracking 16 instruments (my Ramsa has 16 WU8101 channels) at once. is there a way to make the direct out pre-fader?


Any help would be VERY much appreciated!
