sorry to pm you w/o knowing you, but i read quite a few posts of yours...
am thinking about buying new preamps soon, i did quite a LOT of research here in GS and stumbled upon quite a few posts of yours. i was first looking for some siemens or tab, guess the V376 would be the best, but then i started looking at the 1073mp BAE or the HA... there is just to much out there.
well, reading your posts and looking at your gearlist i think we may have similar tastes and i wanted to ask you for your advice. i'll have around 2-3 k euro to spend in pres, that could be a bunch of tab's etc. or a dual-pre new. what in your opinion would be a better choice ? go vintage broadcast or HA/BAE ?
i do folkmusik, remoterecordings around the world, so there is not to much comp/eq in the later process, the sound must be achieved while recording..hence placement/mic and pre !!
