A lot of times when people have their computer monitor between their audio monitors, it tends to mess with anything that is in the middle perspective. Usually the higher frequencies. So snares tend to be pushed forward in volume when you have a hunk of metal messing with things that are in the center. Bass, Kick, Snare, Vocals.
