Hi Jake, do you know our other M.E. Nick Landis? Graduated top of his class from TSU SRT in 2005. He uses a combination of WaveBurner 1.6.1 and Sonoris DDP creator to author replication masters with no problems. I use Sonic soundBlade HD 2.02 for capturing, assembling, and authoring DDP masters and burning discs, works great. It does come with a learning curve, and it's not for the heavy plug-in dependent crowd. Sounds great, perfect for my work flow. Nick and I both are running Mac Pros with OSX 10.6.8, I haven't tried 10.7 at all. Naturally I'd like to encourage you to enlist our services for all your mastering needs, and let us generate your masters. We have a high speed FTP server for online mastering needs. Best, JT

I'm Jake. I graduated from Texas State SRT program about a year ago and I'm working at a studio in Brooklyn now. The owner is looking at a new CD Authoring program to replace wavburner and I came across the thread you recently commented on (here) so I figured I'd go straight to a trusted name.

We're Mac OS 1.7, my search has led me to Wavelab, Soundblade and Sonoris. What would you suggest for strictly burning final CDs for replication?
